VEREID is a verified-first social network and a developer platform for adding real identity to anything you ship. We are starting today by being explicit about what we will and will not claim.
Most platforms hand you a checkmark and call it ‘verified’. We will hand you a tier — T1 through T6 — and a written promise behind each one. If the badge under someone’s name says T2, you can read on the trust page exactly what that means and exactly how we proved it. If a vendor cannot tell you that, in that level of detail, they have something to hide.
We chose this design because the open internet is running out of trustworthy default signals. AI-generated comments, low-cost burner accounts, and impersonation at scale have broken the basic assumption every social product was built on — that the account on the other end is a person. Verification is the only way back, but only if the verification itself is honest.
So in this first post: an invitation. Join the verified network. Build with our Auth and Identity products. And hold us to the standard we are setting for ourselves: never claim a tier we cannot prove, never hide the methodology, and never sell silence.
